Today I will be talking about Matcha Green Tea Powder.
I have heard of the stuff as most of America has, but have never really looked into. I'm a tea drinker. In fact I LOVE tea, but didn't ever think to try Matcha green tea. First of all..... its a powder. Just how do you "brew" a powder? Well, you don't brew it actually. Its more like "disolving" it.
I tried a product from Kiss Me Organics and its a culinary grade green tea powder. It claims to improve your energy, metabolism, and help increase focus. It came with a list of recipes. Thank goodness, cause I really didn't know how to use the it properly. I made a green tea latte. Let me just tell you it was "AH-MAY-ZING". After having this drink for two days, I did in fact notice a difference in my focus and energy; as far as my metabolism.... well, its still too soon to give an honest answer about that. Matcha is said to have a higher concentrate of all the good stuff that regular green tea does and its even more versatile than tea bags.

I can't wait to try the savory recipes and test them out on my family. Not to mention all the baking that you can do with it. It has a very distinct green tea flavor. Its earthy and pungent but in a pleasing sort of way. There is that acidic taste that comes naturally with all tea, but a touch of agave syrup or honey balance it out perfectly. The latte I made was done so with almond milk, so it also had that nuttiness added to it. VERY tasty. I say that Matcha is a MUST try for anyone who likes tea or coffee.
Plus.... ORGANIC??? YES it is. This product is a win win no matter how you look at it.

Today I am writing a review of a wonderful new facial moisturizer that I had the privilege of trying. If you haven't heard of the company, don't worry neither did I. However, I am glad this little gem came available to me.
Its a company called Foxbrim. The product is their Seaweed Complex Lotion. It contains ingredients such as Palm Oil, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin (yes I did say KOSHER), Ocean Mineral Complex, Organic Spirulina (which is a newly recognized Blue Green Algae said to do wonders for all sorts of skin ailments) and some other fabulous stuff that I just didn't recognize.
As someone who suffers from combination AND sensitive skin (and when I say combination, I'm talking about the fact that my forehead can be Sahara dry, but my chin can be a Texas oil slick); I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for a product that doesn't aggravate one or the other conditions.
Well, this may be my God sent product.
Not only did it have a pleasant smell that did indeed remind me of the ocean, but after a few days of use I think I actually see some of those "fine lines" and wrinkles looking less defined. Now I understand that many products have "fillers" but this doesn't have that greasy, heavy, or filmy feel that those products that contain fillers do.
I even got my husband to use it. Since it didn't smell girly at all, he was all about it. And like I was, he was surprised with how nice it was.
It absorbs quickly, is non greasy, and not thick and heavy.
In the few days that I've used it I have seen one new blemish, nor have I seen one new oil slick, nor have I seen one new blackhead.
All in all, I think I've found my new facial moisturizer. Now, if they could only make someone all natural to prevent grey hair......????? (LOL)

I've decided to change the format of my blog and include some honest product reviews, and reviews of services. I am a stickler for getting your money's worth, and for getting the best value for your dollar. This being said, I'd love to hear your product reviews or if you've had an amazing experience somewhere, or even an experience that seemed a little lacking. With all the new companies out there that are constantly toting their goods/services as being the best; the only way to find the best is to share your information and opinions with others. Please feel free to comment or share my reviews and please feel free to post some of your own.
